今天在寫一些最近上英語發音課學到的一般規則：
1. t在unstressed音節裡通常發/d/,例如photograph, utilize,還有像是之前提到的 forty, fifty。
2. t在stress音節裡還是發/t/,例如imitate, telegraph。
3. c後面跟i,e,y通常發//,例如circle,cycle,cell。
4. c後面跟a,o,u通常發/g/,例如can,cotton, color, collar。
5. e,ee,ea,ie或ei通常發/i/,例如he, see, each, piece,either。
6. y,ui,i通常發/I/,例如system, build, sin, lips。
7. a+子音+e,e通常不發音,而a發/eI/或/e/,例如ate, age, safe, make等。
8. ai,ay通常發/e/(/eI/),例如aim ,wait,raise,day, bay,play等
9. eigh常常發/eI/或/e/,例如weigh, eight, neighbor。
10. a,o通常發/a/,例如want, dark, father, fox, hot, spot等
其實發音規則並不是一定是這樣,大概%70-%80的比例是這樣,可能有些更高。
